As you are well aware, India will have the largest number of patients of Heart disease. This is indeed a disaster and much needs to be done to create awareness about the `Dos and Don’ts ` to prevent heart attack. Awareness also needs to be created about the symptoms of a heart attack and what can be done at the grass root level as 1st Aid to optimize chances of survival for the patient and reduce his heart muscle loss.
By spreading our message of `Do`s and Don’ts`, the campaign will not only save millions of lives , it will also save millions of homes and also prevent millions of children from becoming destitute because of loss of breadwinner in the family as a result of heart disease.
WARIS also promotes Transradial Intervention, and conducts workshops called India Radial Blitz, since 2007. It is supported and aided by its International patrons in Netherlands, North America.
